Who is this strange purple alien? Has Gonzo the Great gotten fat? Has one of the Ninja Turtles been eating too much beetroot? Why, no! This crazy character is set to revolutionise the way kids learn music. He's the music teacher from the Musiah computer program. I've just been hired to be the ambassador for this great program that teaches kids (and adults, if they're interested) about music theory, note-reading, and how to play piano. It's as entertaining as a computer game, but it provides fantastic information at the same time. It's a fun experience and a great way to learn. The Musiah teacher takes each student through the basics of music making (from as basic as how to find middle C on the piano) right up to some quite advanced concepts. I'll let you know more about Musiah when it is officially launched, but for now it's still in Beta testing mode - which is great, because it means they're letting you try it for a few months for free.
